Canon's PIXMA And DiG!C

With the launch of 20 new consumer products this year Canon Australia's Mr Shuichi Tsukahara, Managing Director, has said the company is catering to an "insatiable demand" for digital products. "The key to our technology is our slogan 'Advanced Simplicity' and it's the philosophical heart and practical core of everything that Canon does." He said Canon's PIXMA technology brought a printing solution for those who wanted to print more photos at home, and DiG!C software brought a higher level of processing power across Canon's camera range.

One of the key products introduced was the 8 megapixel Canon EOS 350D digital SLR camera with CMOS image sensor and DiG!C 11 Image Processor. Other products launched include the Canon IXUS 700 digital still camera with 7.1 effective megapixels; the Canon IXUS 50 digital still camera with 5 effective megapixels; the Canon Powershot A510 and Powershot A520 digital still cameras with 3.2 and 4 effective megapixels respectively; MVX330i digital video camera with a powerful 18x optical zoom and Real Widescreen Recording; the MV800i, MV830i and MV850i featuring Real Widescreen Recording for under $1000; the PIXMA MP110 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier featuring Canon's new FINE print head tech
nology; the PIXMA MP130 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier; PIXMA MP760
combining all-colour printer, scanner, and copier functionalities for home
users; the LBP-3000 mono laser printer for small businesses or professional
home office; the SELPHY DS700 compact photo printer; the CanoScan LICE
500F scanner; and Canon's new 10x42 L IS binoculars.
